Content
|
Course description: The constitution of Adult Education/Andragogy (AE/A). Importance and function of AE/A. Position of AE/A in the system of human sciences. Development of AE/A in European and other countries. Core terms of AE/A: lifelong education, lifelong learning, lifewide learning, learning society, formal, non-formal and informal education/learning. The concept of the "integral andragogy". Learning and teaching of the adults. Modern methods and forms in teaching and learning of adults. In-company training and retraining. Human resources management. The concept of "social andragogy". Founders of AE/A and further important personalities. Study programs of AE/A at the Czech universities.
Aims and objectives of the course: To provide basic knowledge of modern AE/A, basic concepts and approaches, methods and forms of teaching, learning and education of the adults.
