Course objectives:
|
To characterize and identify the basic methods and techniques of drama in relation to particular directions of drama at home and abroad. Get experience with the process of drama and evaluate it in relation to the field of pedagogy. Enter, maintain and reflect the dramatic game.

Requirements on student
|
1. Active participation at seminars (80%) 2.Taking part in a workshop called "Everything can be a puppet" at the Puppet Theater Ostrava (as scheduled) 3. Taking part in a parade of children's theatrical ensembles or ensembles performing for children (list of parades to choose from will be at student's disposal at the beginning of the semester) 4. Fulfilling tasks - submitted by the deadline 5. Defense of the portfolio compiled of submitted and consulted tasks Portfolio content: 1. Selection of an appropriate literary work that a theatrical play was based on. Give arguments why the particular work was chosen. 2. Analysis of the attended classes from the point of view of the possibility of the development of basic conditions for dramatic acting. 3. Description of principles of Czech improvisational leagues and possibilities for working as an educator. 4. Description of the specifics of children's theater or a theater performing for children and giving arguments based on visited productions 5. Analysis of all attended classes from the point of view of the methods and techniques used and layers of role playing. 6. Picking a screenplay of a structured drama and analyze it from the point of view of the possibilities for working as an educator. Support one's decision or to come up with some changes. 7. Reflection of one's own personal development, socio-aesthetic-artistic, ethical and factual-learning-at-a-seminar development.

Playmaking - improvised play stories, choice literary model, the typical structure of lessons, the main methods and techniques of direction - Theatre Games - characteristic direction, the relationship of theatre, direction methods and techniques, the importance of dramatic improvisation for the development of education in kliernta drama - structured drama - relationship toward curriculum, the choice of themes, characteristic methods, techniques, conventions - choice of objectives, content and methods - the theme from the dramatic game - mode of reflection and evaluation of dramatic play

The students describe the various directions of drama. The students apply knowledge, experience and skills gained in the planning and management and a dramatic reflection of the game reflects the new knowledge in the field of drama education in relation to their field, working with professional literature. |
