Course objectives:
The course aims at developing student´s musicality and musical imagination. When studying multi-vocal chamber or choir compositions of various styles and genres, the student enhances his/her sense for overall harmony, intonation purity, ability to listening to each other and colour complemention, unity of declamation, articulation and overall ensemble rhytmic precision. Students apply knowledge gained at previous theoretical and practical subjects. Repertoire includes acapella compositions and compositions with piano or other accompanying instruments.

Requirements:

Mandatory of minimum 70% course attendance
Performance at interpretation seminar and at concerts of the chamber choir
Home preparation

Content:

Keeping track of correct singing technique principles
Getting oriented in multi-vocal composition score
Singing of multi-vocal compositions of various styles and genres
Bulding awareness of chamber singing as a means for group interpretation
Adjusting individual interpretation into harmonic choir unity
Observing uniform phrasing and articulation of compositions

- orientace v notovém zápisu vícehlasé vokální skladby
- zpěv vícehlasých skladeb různých stylů a žánrů
- chápání komorního zpěvu jako prostředku pro skupinovou interpretaci
- přizpůsobování intepretace jednotlivce celku
- dodržování jednotného frázování a artikulace jednotlivých skladeb

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course:
- orientace v hudebních stylech, žánrech a formách a jejich historickém vývoji
- porozumění zásadám interpretace vícehlasých skladeb
- znalost techniky zpěvu v daném typu repertoáru
- orientace v partech
Skills - skills resulting from the course:
- schopnost skupinového hudebního projevu
- schopnost čtení a zpěvu z listu
- uzpůsobení pěvecké techniky sborovému projevu

Knowledge - knowledge achieved by taking this course are verified by the following means:
