Course objectives:
Předmět Dějiny a literatura kontrabasu doplňuje výuku hlavního oboru specializace Kontrabas v rámci studijního programu Instrumentální hra. Cílem skupinové výuky je seznámit studenty s dalším vývojem stavby nástroje a s proměnami techniky do roku 1800. Stejná pozornost je věnována souvisejícímu stylovému vývoji hudby komponované pro daný nástroj. Student je také veden k pochopení problematiky tzv. poučené interpretace hudby různých stylových období. Výuka probíhá nejen teoreticky, ale také s využitím praktických (obrazových, audio-vizuálních)ukázek.

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: - znalost historického vývoje nástroje do roku 1800 - znalost kontrabasové koncertní literatury do roku 1800 - základní orientace v hudebních stylech, žánrech a formách a jejich historickém vývoji - základní přehled o nejvýznamnějších interpretačních stylech a tradicích - základní porozumění stylovým specifikům různých typů repertoáru s ohledem na konkrétní historické období, kulturně-geografický region a žánrový okruh Skills - skills resulting from the course: -schopnost srozumitelné prezentace svých znalostí a názorů z této oblasti -schopnost charakterizovat literaturu daného období v souvislosti s obecnými dějinami hudby
