Course objectives:
The course focuses on the preparation of the implementation phase of the bachelor's thesis. The student can execute linear and spatial constructions of a human figure according to a living life-size model. He/she can work and perceive proportions, volume and spatial relationships and compositional principles. He/she can critically view and apply knowledge in the field of depicting and non-depicting paintings using traditional and non-traditional painting techniques. The student explores possibilities of painting expression following his/her personal artistic feeling. After consulting with the head of the thesis, he/she analyzes the topic and, using the ability and skills, proposes the final form (scope, format, technique used) of the bachelor's thesis in the painting media. The student can defend his/her Bachelor thesis in progress in a critical discussion. Part of the teaching is a detailed analysis of the method of installation of the work of art on current examples of independent and group exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad.

- minimálně 70% účast ve výuce - prezentace pracovní fáze bakalářské práce obsahující návrhy (fotografie, kresby, texty, archivní materiál atd.) - ukázka praktické práce - hotová osnova teoretické obhajoby

1.-13. - individuální teoretická výuka formou konzultace - práce v ateliéru - instalace uměleckého díla na aktuálních příkladech samostatných a skupinových výstav v ČR i zahraničí - aktualizace portfolia v tištěné a digitální podobě - webová prezentace - diskuze mezi vyučujícími a studenty zaměřená na schopnost kritické reflexe tvorby a aktuálních kontextů probíhajících výstav v ČR a Evropě
