Course objectives:
|
The programme of the seminar is variable, talks are given mainly by guest professors and researchers from Czechia and abroad. The aim is to give the students a broader background in contemporary mathematics and enable a direct contact with active researchers. The seminar will also help the students in preparation of their dissertation thesis.
The guarantors of the course are all guarantors of active seminars held at the Department of Mathematics and the Institute for Research and Application of Fuzzy Modeling.
The student selects after agreement of supervisor one of the active seminars, organized by the Department of Mathematics or the Institute for Research and Application of Fuzzy Modeling, or possibly some seminar on other university, according to the topic of the PhD thesis.

Active participation in selected seminars. The specific conditions are determined by the supervisor.

Content
|
The content of the seminar is variable and is given by a current seminar programme.
The student selects after agreement of supervisor one of the active seminars, organized by the Department of Mathematics or the Institute for Research and Application of Fuzzy Modeling, or possibly some seminar on other university, according to the topic of the PhD thesis.
The schedule of seminars for a given semester is published on the website and postered on the departmental board.
