Hodnotí se znalost slovní zásoby, schopnost porozumět překládanému textu a vyjádřit jej odpovídajícím způsobem v českém jazyce.

Content
|
Státní závěrečná zkouška je ústní a sestává ze dvou částí. V části Četba a překlad latinského textu student prokazuje schopnost přečíst, přeložit a interpretovat krátké pasáže (v rozsahu cca 10 řádků nebo 15 veršů) vybrané ze zadaných textů:
- Augustinus Aurelius, De civitate Dei I; II; V; 1-8; VI; XXII, 30; Confessiones I, 1-10; III, 4-5; VIII, 12.
- Boethius, Consolatio Philosophiae.
- Cosmae Chronicon Bohemorum I, 1-9, 40; Chronica Aulae regiae I, 14?25; Vita Karoli IV. 1-2, 7-8.
- Carmina Burana 11, 16, 17, 41, 42, 44, 74, 75, 76, 100, 117, 123, 130, 131a, 136, 138, 143, 191, 196, 211, 219 (číslování podle edice Carmina Burana, vyd. A. Hilka, O.
Schumann, 1930, 1941).
- Gualterus de Castellione, Alexandreis, I, 1-202.
- Vulgáta: Genesis, Psalmi, Evangelium secundum Matthaeum.
V průběhu studia mohou studenti v rámci výběrových disciplín získat zápočet z četby Boethia, Gualtera Castellionského, českolatinských kronik a Vulgáty, z těchto autorů a děl pak již nebudou v rámci magisterské zkoušky znovu přezkušováni.
