Course objectives:

Optional course for students of fields at the Department of Informatics and Computers. The objective is to familiarize the student with basic topics in informatics and supported by the learned grammar, the student will be activated to discuss the topics. Thus, it extends vocabulary and prepares the student for studying foreign literature and having a discussion about technical issues.

Requirements on student
|
The course is ended by a credit. The student must work out 3 tests during the term (40+40+100). the final score is then assessed according to the ECTS grading system and the credit is given according to the Examination Regulations of the University of Ostrava.
The student also works out a semestral paper with max. score of 30 pts, the minimum is 20 pts. Both form and contents are evaluated.
The minimum is then 140 points (tests+Assignment)
80% attendance is also a condition for successful passing.
