Course objectives:

Self-study of literature, consultation with the thesis supervisor, presentation.
In the Diploma Seminars 1 and 2 (7DIS1 and 7DIS2) the emphasis is on acquiring the skills of professional communication and presentation of one's results. These seminars are common for students of both years and both specialisations, with the aim of strengthening the ability to interdisciplinary perception of the problem addressed, discussion, and to prepare students for the presentation of results at (inter)national conferences. The course also includes seminars common to students across years and invited guest lectures (also in English).

Requirements on student

The student takes the course only after agreement with the supervisor of diploma thesis.
Presentation of own results obtained in the framework of the thesis. Active participation in the seminar.
