Course objectives:
Basic curriculum of the seminar will be analyses of selected works of Slovak literary production in the 2nd middle of the 20th century, and their inclusion in the respective thematic areas and developmental streams. The works of Slovak Over realism, Dominica Tartarsky´s texts, author's circle of magazine "Young production", Slovak literary postmodernism, etc.


Requirements on student
Students are required to study certain text for each seminar. At least once a semester must prepare an independent output for a specific work by the end of the semester and submit an interpretation of selected works

Model story with the mystery of Dušan Mitani. 5. Regionalism Dusan Dusek. 6. Bestiary Jan Johanidese. 7. Rudolf Sloboda as a literary figure. 8. Poetics poetry group Lone runners. 9. Concretism in the work of Jan Ondrus. 10. The leading figure of post-war Surrealism Slovak Albert Marenčin. 11. Early works Dominica Tartar. 12. Period procommunist Tatarková engagement. 13. Vněsyžetová Tatarkova prose from the period of normalization.

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course:
The student acquires a basic orientation of the Slovak literature, has knowledge of key works, especially contemporary Slovak prose and poetry.
Skills - skills resulting from the course:
The student will deepen his/her ability to analyze literary works.
