Course objectives:

Characteristics:
The subject comprehensively deals with the current topics of cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, orthopedics and urology. Teaching takes place in a combined form of presentations, bedside teaching, seminars with discussion of individual topics.
Subject Surgery I-IV. is finished with an exam.
Objectives:
- acquiring basic knowledge about diagnosis and treatment in the fields of cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, orthopedics and urology.
Examination of theoretical knowledge in general surgery, special surgery, traumatology and other surgical fields (vascular surgery, pediatric surgery, cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, urology and burn medicine).

Requirements on student
|
Attendance requirements: 100% participation in exercises and seminars. The teacher will decide on the adequacy of any apology.
Student requirements:
- In case of non-compliance with the regime and neglecting the principles of work and operation safety and hygienic-epidemiological measures, they are expelled from the practice.
- During practicals, they can prepare tests with professional issues to practice and verify understanding of the material discussed and acquired knowledge.
Merit criteria: credit (attendance), exam (written test / oral exam).
Credit requirements: It is not possible to take the course or the credit if the student does not meet the prerequisites.
Requirements for the exam: Verification of study results in the form of credits for Surgery subjects I-IV.
Requirements for completing the course:
The student receives credits for the completed course only if he has fulfilled all the requirements stated in the course syllabus.
If a written test is set, the percentage minimum criteria or the number of points for successful completion are defined, which is binding within the course syllabus.
Benefit criterion:
Of all the partial requirements for the student, the student must obtain the minimum set percentage threshold of success or a classification with a grade of at least "E".
Other specifications are given by the type of subject and are defined in the syllabus of the subject, they are binding for the student.

Student získal základní teoretické znalosti v oblasti kardiochirurgie, neurochirurgie, cévní chirurgie, ortopedie a urologie a je kompletně připraven na složení zkoušky z chirurgie. |
