Course objectives:
|
The aim of the seminar is to reflect the continuous practice of students in state and non-governmental organizations, social work, focusing on methods of assessment activities in social work. Attention is focused on research activities in the evaluation of the involvement of service users, used methods and organizational conditions of social workers. Seminar to integrate work experience into the theoretical foundations of social work. The main emphasis is placed on the initial and final reflection of the student work (individual and group) and a critical analysis of the acquired knowledge and skills. Coincides with KAM/7OPX2.

Requirements: 80 % attendance for the specialised practical placement, continuous fulfilment of the learning plan, documentary evidence to the objectives of learning

Content
|
Reflections of professional practice on the topics: 1. Self-compulsory literature.
2. Introductory tutorials: introduction to the organization of teaching (forms of meetings and communication). Getting to know the contents and conditions of completion of the course. Introduction to the literature. 3. Self-compulsory literature. Reading entering the formulation of goals and individual goals. Collection of information. 4. Self-compulsory literature. Continuous process of the target, the collection of information. 5. Self-compulsory literature. Processing of the first written work to that goal, preparing presentations and documents for discussion. 6. Self-compulsory literature. Preparing to present and discuss a selected topic. Submitting the first written work. 7. Self-compulsory literature. Development of other issues that purpose, the collection of information. 8. Self-compulsory literature. Continuous process of individual goals. 9. Self-compulsory literature. Processing of second assignment. 10. Self-compulsory literature. Preparing to present and discuss a selected topic. Submitting the second written work. 11. Self-compulsory literature. Preparing to present and discuss a selected topic. Submitting a written reflection of individual goals. 12. Final Tutorial: Group reflection and critical analysis of the findings of the completed practice in professional workplaces. Learners will be discussed themes according to the established learning objectives and meet the individual goals of practice. Students receive feedback on written work. Presentation of the objectives, discussion. 13. Evaluation of the activities of learners. The granting of credits.

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
-ability to analyze and critically reflect on lessons learned from the students completed practical training with a focus on social work with the family at specialized centers and non-government organizations, social work. - the ability to identify its position and solve problems - get a feel for gender issues and equal opportunities - the ability to act based on ethical principles, to evaluate their performance - get interactive and interpersonal skills and skills in data acquisition and analysis - getting to know the activities of welfare officers and organisations active in the local network of social services, - learning about the current developments in the area; - learning about the need to preserve confidentiality and observe safety-at-work regulations at the workplace during practical placement; - the ability to apply knowledge in practical situations, verification of the theoretical starting points of social work; - the ability to search for, process and analyse information from various sources; forming of elementary professional skills, - the ability to communicate with colleagues and clients at the workplace; - the ability to understand clients and their problems and living conditions, t - he ability to apply social work methods and techniques, development of the students' professional identities; - acceptance of social diversity and multiculturalism; - mastering general working skills in the context of a workplace; the ability to adapt oneself and take action in new situations; - the ability to work independently; development of critical thinking and analytical competencies in the context of a workplace. |

The form of assessment of course is subject pass ("zápočet"). The result of a subject pass is expressed on the scale: a) "započteno" (i.e. "pass"), b) "nezapočteno" (i.e. "fail"). |
