Course objectives:
|
Tento předmět navazuje na Praktická cvičení 1 a 2 a dále tak rozvíjí jazykové znalosti a komunikační dovednosti na úrovni B2+. Studenti si prohlubují znalosti v anglické gramatice a slovní zásobě a systematicky rozvíjejí své jazykové dovedností (poslech, mluvení, čtení a psaní) tak, aby byli schopni tyto znalosti a dovednosti využít i ve své profesi učitele na základní škole. Náplň předmětu bude vycházet z prvních sedmi lekcí učebnice Objective Advanced od autorů Felicity O'Dell a Annie Broadhead. Bude rozšířena o gramatiku a slovní zásobu vybraných lekcí z učebnice Destinations C1&C2 a další doplňkové materiály odrážející specifické potřeby studentů. Studenti si mimo jiné osvojí základní jazykové dovednosti potřebné pro komunikaci v akademickém prostředí.

Requirements on student
|
Aktivita ve výuce: studenti plní dílčí úkoly a zapojují se do aktivit během výuky. Studenti se také doma průběžně připravují na výuku dle zadání vyučujícího.
Docházka: k získání zápočtu je nutná minimálně 80% účast ve výuce.
Esej: studenti během semestru odevzdají 1 esej dle zadání vyučujícího.
Didaktický test: test na základě znalostí gramatiky a slovní zásoby vycházející z lekcí 1-7 a osvojených dovedností. K získání zápočtu je nutná minimálně 70% úspěšnost v testu.

7. Giving advice (modals and semi-modals, word formation prefixes and suffixes).

11. Communications technology (phrasal verbs separable and inseparable, word formation).

- pokročilých gramatických jevů (např. všechny typy podmínkových vět, předložkové vazby, přací věty, modální slovesa, "semi-modals", vztažné věty restriktivní a nerestriktivní);
- slovní zásoby (např. kolokace, předložkové fráze, idiomy, slovotvorba prefixace a sufixace, discourse markers);
- pojmů denotace a konotace;
- struktury vybraných žánrů (např. formální dopis);
- formálních i neformálních jazykových prostředků v mluvené i psané komunikaci.

- správně používat gramatické jevy a struktury, které jsou obsahem daného kurzu;
- obhájit své myšlenky, stanoviska a názory za použití vhodné slovní zásoby;
- vytvořit koherentní text a vhodně jej strukturovat (např. formální dopis);
- odvodit význam neznámých lexikálních jednotek z kontextu nebo na základě znalosti tvoření slov;
- porozumět hlavním bodům a myšlenkám slyšeného textu na méně běžná i odborná témata;
- volně a srozumitelně reprodukovat čtený či slyšený text;
- rozlišit prvky formálního a neformálního stylu a vhodně je použít;
- pracovat s výkladovými a odbornými slovníky.
